Since 1984 Ten Ten Music Group, Inc. has established
itself as the number one independent publisher
in Nashville. Founded by Barry and Jewel Coburn,
Ten Ten Management (credited with launching
country superstar Alan Jackson’s career)
and Ten Ten Music Group (with catalogs from
over thirty staff writers) have both been successful
endeavors for the Coburns. With a catalog that
boasts over 700 cuts, Ten Ten Music stands on
very firm ground.
Ten Ten Music has been listed as one of the
Top Ten publishers on Billboard’s list
of Top Publishers for three consecutive years
(2004-2006). Keith Urban, who was published
by Ten Ten for thirteen years, has released
two albums that have been certified triple
platinum along with multiple major hits. Harley
Allen enjoyed a #1 hit with “Awful Beautiful
Life” co-written and recorded by Darryl
Worley and currently has a Top 10 hit with
“I’ll Wait For You” recorded
by Joe Nichols. “Peace In This House”,
written by Angela Kaset, can be heard on Wynonna
Judd’s new album and live DVD, which
were recorded at Nashville’s Grand Ole
Opry. Other Ten Ten writers with recent major
cuts include Tim Finn on the title track from
the recent Jimmy Buffett release “Take
The Weather With You” (Chuck Mead, another
Ten Ten writer, also has a song on the album
titled “Cinco de Mayo in Memphis”)
and Tia Sillers with “Around The Bend”,
recorded by Randy Travis and slated for a
fall 2007 release. Tim Finn’s new solo
album, Imaginary Kingdom, is scheduled for
U.S. release on April 24, 2007 on EMI / Manhattan
Records. Tim penned all twelve tracks and
the album was produced by Ten Ten producer
and writer Bobby Huff.
Ten Ten is also enjoying pop success in Europe
and the U.S. and has had many song placements
in TV and film including “Weather With

Can Happen” – Aurora Borealis
(FILM), “Winter Light” –
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch
