Angela Kaset

Angela Kaset has had a wildly impressive 40-year career as a songwriter in Nashville She has written songs for beloved artists such as Wynonna Judd, Tanya Tucker, Suzy Bugguss, & Patty Page. 

She has received multiple awards and honors, including SESAC Songwriter of the year,  ACM country music song of the year nominee, & the BMI Million Airs award. She has also contributed to the songwriting culture and community by serving on the NSAI board of directors (where she made numerous trips to meet with congressional leaders in Washington to advocate for songwriters) and she served as a lecturer and teacher at NSAI events. 

Her award-winning song, "Something In Red" was a career-defining release for country star Lorrie Morgan as well as a hit for English superstar Elaine Page, and the video was voted one of the top 100 country music videos of all time.
