Keith Sewell

Keith Sewell has toured with a number of celebrated acts including Ricky Skaggs, the Dixie Chicks, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, and Many others. It was Ricky Skaggs who gave him his start with his country band when Keith was just 19 years old. He was in Kentucky Thunder for 7 years. He has toured with the (Dixie) Chicks on their last two world tours.

Currently, he plays acoustic guitar and mandolin in Lyle Lovett’s Large Band and also tours with Lyle Lovett and his Acoustic Group.. By the same token, his songs have been recorded by a number of eclectic artists ranging from Montgomery Gentry and Steve Wariner to Sonja Isaacs and BR-549, among others. Ricky Skaggs has recorded 6 of Keith's songs throughout his career including his Top 20 hit “From the Word Love” for the album “My Father’s Son”.
